Dr. Surell Levine and Dr. Shelley Macchi
Dr. Surell Levine
I graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 and University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, I completed a fellowship in Emergency and Critical Care and worked at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit. I am also a certified veterinary medical acupuncturist and an active volunteer at the MSPCA animal shelter.

I am also the inventor of the widely-used Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap, a patented swaddle designed to make vet visits easier for cats.

When I’m not working, I am busy with my husband, three kids, our cat, and new puppy.
Dr. Shelley Macchi
In 2002, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from University of New Hampshire and then, in 2006, graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University Veterinary School. After graduate school, I completed an internship focused on emergency medicine at New England Animal Medical Center in Bridgewater, MA. Since then, I have worked ten years in a busy primary care hospital. My practice has particularly focused on preventative care, treatment/management of chronic diseases in dogs and cats, and client education.
I spend most of my time with my husband and 3 daughters. We live in and love Milford, where my husband is a school teacher and my daughters attend the local schools.
